My introduction to Boxers started in 1958, when as a child my father purchased a beautiful fawn bitch from a reputable breeder in Toronto.

Peter's introduction came in 1979 when he bought me a brindle male boxer(Zorro) for my birthday from a breeder in Québec. We have been owned by boxers ever since.

Zorro unfortunately died at four of epilepsy.  The breeder sold us his six-year-old house dog, which was one of his best producers.  Sugar was probably one of the best behaved boxers we had.  Unfortunately, she developed cancer and died at age 11 1/2.  Devastated by the death of Sugar we  called everywhere  looking for a boxer.

We found a breeder in Montréal, who had one of his dogs returned to him. When we arrived at his home he warned us that the dog had been abused.  His wife brought out the beautiful flashy brindle male, who charged at me and filled me with hugs and kisses.  He then turned to my five-year-old son, and did the same.  SOLD.

His name was Sunny, and he had won Best-of-Breed at the Ottawa show, receiving five points towards his championship.  With the help and guidance of our friends in the United States, Peter finished Sunny in one weekend.  Thus emerged Ch. Trevtel's Sundance Warrior.  Peter was hooked on showing.
We purchased a bitch from a breeder in New York, but she didn't work out and became my son's best friend.

Two of the people who helped us were Robert and Alice Helm of  Thorncrest Kennels in Pennsylvania.  They advised us that their dog, American Canadian Champion Salgray's Hi Jinx O'Thorncrest had just sired a litter.  They brought the puppy up to friends in Syracuse.  She was a beautiful flashy fawn bitch, who became our foundation bitch Ch. CB's Swiss Miss O'Thorncrest.
She was only bred once to Ch. Kingstels Cassius Clay and produced a litter of six beautiful puppies.  Peter took one of the puppies to her championship.  Her name is Ch. Ringside Reflection of Heidi (Madoo).  Two other puppies were kept as pets.Madoo was bred to Am.Can. Ch Lynbary's Dylan's Choice SOM and later to Am Can Ch Storybook's Crazy for Tickitbou SOM owned by Wally & Rhoda Ace of Tickitbou Kennels.

Wally & Rhoda purchased 2 puppies from the above litter and took them to their championships.(Ch Ringside Gossip at Tickitbou & Ch. Ringside Chatter at Tickitbou). This duo also produced our little girl Ch. Ringside Back to the Future(Nicki).

Ch. Ringside Gossip at Tickitou  was bred to Can. UKC. Ch. Tickitou Great Gatsby  and one of the puppies came back to us(Ch. Tickitbou's Magic at Ringside).  Magic was bred to Ringside Tour de France and produced "THE SUPER 7", seven boys.
